Local Shropshire Chef, James Sherwin, to Star at Ginger and Spice Fest

Local Shropshire chef, James Sherwin, is confirmed to star at the forthcoming Ginger and Spice Festival in Market Drayton in September!

James who currently runs a pop-up dining concept called ‘Wild Shropshire’ at selected spaces and venues across the county, also appeared on Master Chef series as well as alongside Nigella Lawson in Channel 4’s The Taste Show.

James is committed to bringing local, frequently foraged ingredients to the dinner plate, enabling his diners to discover and experience the unique Shropshire terroir, and often in very special settings.

The forthcoming pop up event for the Ginger and Spice Festival promises to impress. James will be focusing on native British plants to use in cooking as an alternative to more commonly known spices. We can’t wait!
