Winners announced
We are delighted to announce the winners of the Best Ginger Cat and Dog contest sponsored by Quintessential Quarters Boarding Kennels, Cattery and Dog Grooming Salon.
Contest
Entrants were asked to submit a picture of their ginger dog, or ginger cat, including why they thought their pet should win, plus to include their name, address, postcode email address and telephone number by Friday 27th September 2019.
Entries
We had 39 entries into this year’s Best Ginger Cat or Dog Contest which we were pleased with! The Quintessential Quarters judging panel picked the winners in accordance with the above criteria. To see all the entries, go to the hashtag #gingerpets19 on Instagram or keep scrolling to see the video!
Best Ginger Dog
The best ginger dog prize was awarded to fox red Labrador, Chester, owned by Zowie Watkins of Shrewsbury.
Zowie said, ”We are overjoyed that Chester won first place in your competition! He is the brightest, most clever and loving dog, we are very lucky. We are so grateful, thank you.”

Best Ginger Cat
The best ginger cat prize was awarded to the handsome ginger tom , Vitty, owned by Loran Harrison of Chartley.
Loran said:- ‘‘I’m just so happy that you are as captivated by Vitty as I am everyday. He is the sweetest, gentlest boy and brings my whole family so much happiness. For such a big cat, he’s a complete softy. I love him with all of my heart and I’m so glad I get to share him with everyone through this. Thank you for choosing him as the best ginger pet, we are so happy & grateful.”
