Best Decorated Gingerbread Contest

Congratulations to the following children who won in the best decorated gingerbread contest which took place on Saturday 28th September 2019 at the Spice Exchange Street Market, sponsored by the Original Biscuit Bakers.

RESULTS

The competition which was judged by Image on Food and the Ginger and Spice Festival:-

1.Under 8’s Winner – Isabelle Brett from Market Drayton (Aged 3)

2. 8 – 12’s Winner – Lucy Davies from Marchamley (Aged 8)

3. 13 – 17’s Winner – Emily Bentley from Market Drayton (Aged 14)

Sales director, Sarah Hopcroft, said:

‘’There were three age categories, under 8’s, 8-12 and 13-17. We had over 50 entries hopeful of winning their category prize. The standard was very high, and there were lots of amazing designs created, making the judge’s decision very hard. We are delighted with the success of the event and the pleasure and fun this seemed to bring to everyone who participated.”
