We are delighted to welcome Hirune Upeksha Rajaguru to the Ginger & Spice Festival team on her MSc postgraduate placement from Staffordshire University. Here is a short intro from Hirune about her what she is studying:

“I’m a graduate with BA (Hons) in International Business Management, and currently enrolled for the Postgraduate degree (MSc) in Digital Marketing Management at Staffordshire University. This course was chosen to better understand and broaden my knowledge in the Digital Marketing Industry and the Digital World. I’ve started working at “Ginger and Spice Festival” as part of student placement and I’m happy to be a part of the festival and have been enjoying working alongside the marketing team.”

A little background on Hirune:-

“I was born and raised in Sri Lanka. It’s a tropical island full of natural beauty and diverse cultures. It’s relatively small in size but rich in hospitality and flavoursome food. Lonely Planet claimed Sri Lanka as one of the best travel destinations in 2019.”

We are delighted to have Hirune on board and be sure to welcome her to the town if you see her out and about in Market Drayton.
