Charlotte Foster
It was a Tuesday evening in the late 1980s when Charlotte decided she was going to be a
journalist. You’ve got Jason Donovan to thank for that because she worked out if she was a
journalist she’d meet him and the next natural step would be marriage. The good news is she
did meet him and the pair are now married. The bad news is they’re not married to each other.
Fast forward to now and two decades after she was first allowed in front of a live microphone,
Charlotte’s achievements include stints working at BBC 5 Live and LBC as well as waking up
North Staffordshire and South Cheshire as co-host of BBC Radio Stoke’s breakfast show (2014 –
2016)
Charlotte’s passion now is podcasting. She started the successful Cultural Quarter Of An Hour Podcast in 2017 highlighting the culture
of Stoke on Trent. That led to the creation of Charlotte Foster Podcasts – a podcast production agency focusing
on creating branded podcasts for organisations who have a positive message.
Charlotte’s favourite spice is paprika – the smokier the better.
