We are calling on local residents, businesses, and supporters to back a crowdfunding campaign to bring back the Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band Experience for 2025.
Thanks to the Shropshire Shared Prosperity Fund, Shropshire Council has pledged £3,053 towards this exciting project. However, the funding will only be released once we secure at least 20 backers and reach our target through the Spacehive crowdfunding campaign. With just 10 backers so far, we are urging the community to get involved and help unlock this vital funding. The deadline to pledge is 3rd June.

Last year at the Ginger & Spice Festival, the Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band Experience brought Market Drayton to life with high-energy performances and immersive Indian cultural workshops.
This year, we want to expand the experience with:
🎺 Live street performances from the Rajasthani Heritage Brass Band
🎨 New hands-on workshops including block printing, mehndi (henna), and drumming
🎭 An exciting new parade uniting schools, charities & community groups
🥁 Local drumming groups adding to the spectacle
These events will be FREE for all and helps make culture accessible to everyone—but we can’t do it without you.
As a small, not-for-profit festival, run entirely by volunteers, we rely on support to bring incredible cultural experiences to Market Drayton. Without funding, we can’t make this happen—and we need your help!
