We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Volunteer Social Media Assistant to support the promotion of the Ginger & Spice Festival.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in events, marketing and digital communications, while being part of a well-loved, high-profile food festival.

About the Role

You will support the delivery of engaging social media content in the lead-up to the festival, helping to build excitement, promote traders and highlight what’s happening across the event.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with planning and scheduling social media content
  • Creating engaging posts for Facebook and Instagram
  • Promoting traders, events and festival highlights
  • Capturing content (photos/video) in the run-up and during the festival
  • Responding to comments and messages (where appropriate)
  • Supporting live posting during the festival (if available)

What We’re Looking For

  • Interest in social media, marketing or events
  • Good written communication skills
  • Creative eye for content and storytelling
  • Confident using platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
  • Reliable, organised and able to work independently
  • Local knowledge of Market Drayton (desirable but not essential)

Time Commitment
