Get ready for a day of FREE fun at this year’s Ginger & Spice Festival, specially crafted just for YOU!
From 10am to 4.30pm (some activity times may vary)

We will have a whole line up of FREE of charge activities for children outside the Market Drayton Library including:

  • Gingerbread decorating with the Original Biscuit Bakers
  • Wood gingerbread crafting and keyring making
  • Gingerbread Trail around the town (leaflet at heritage trail point in the High Street) – Starts at 9.30am
  • Face painting
  • Spices, food and the bible with St Mary’s Church (10am-2.15pm)
  • Mini Maharajas – cultural Activities with the Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band (10.15-10.45 | 11.30-12.00 | 13.30-14.00)
  • Block Printing and Mehndi (11.00-11.30 | 14.30-15.00)
  • Chinese Lantern making with Culture Kind (11.00am-3pm)
  • Sunflower Craft at the Market Drayton Library (10.00am -12.30pm)

Creative Drayton are also offering Flag making (10:30am – 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 2:30pm) at the Indoor Market to support the new Festival Parade, see here. 

All activities are absolutely FREE, but if you’re feeling extra generous, donations are warmly welcomed on the day. Every bit helps make our festival even more magical!
